Borderline Carpets was founded by Steve Farrell, who began his flooring career at just 13 years old as an apprentice carpet fitter. With a natural talent for precision and an eye for detail, Steve quickly became known for his high standards and dedication to quality. Drawing on his early experience, he went on to establish Borderline Carpet Planning Services Ltd with a clear vision: to offer clients the best possible flooring products and an unrivalled level of service.
Over the years, Steve has built a team that shares his commitment to excellence. Together, they have delivered flooring projects for luxury homes, hotels, superyachts, and private residences across the world.
In 2012, Steve launched SYLKA, an award-winning carpet brand recognised internationally for its innovation and sustainable craftsmanship.
